Theatre 4 The People is a non-profit company run by a Co-Op of artists. They are dedicated to nurturing and supporting a diverse range of emerging artists and making sure theatre is accessible to all.
"Once a month Theatre 4 The People pays an artist to come out to Deckel Farm in Holmes, New York for one week.
@theBarn artists stay in a donated living space and receive a small stipend for food and travel. They can create, recharge, collaborate, rest, or revise. Whatever they need. We don’t charge, we don’t demand a product and we don’t restrict." (Theatre 4 The People's website.)
Emily is an Artist in Residence with Theatre 4 The People at theBarn for the 2025 season. They will be onsite in residence from June 18th to 24th.
The Bloomsburg University Players' Spring 2025 MainStage production is These Women of Troy by Joe Stollenwerk, adapted from Euripides.
Directed by Dr. Carrie Winship.
March 6-9, 2025 at the Alvina Krause Theatre in Downtown Bloomsburg, PA.

About the Play: After ten long years of violent and brutal conflict, the city of Troy has fallen. Gathered on a remote shore near the city’s destroyed walls, the women of Troy contemplate their fates and fears. This new version of Euripides’ famed Greek tragedy provokes questions as urgent today as in 415 BCE.
The Dance Minor Concert is a varied collection of dance pieces created and performed by students, faculty, and guest artists at Commonwealth University - Bloomsburg.
Prof. Julie Petry is the Artistic Director.
Emily is serving as the Stage Manager.
The 14th Annual Dance Minor Concert performs May 4th and 5th of 2025 in Haas Center for the Arts.
About the Play: Crashing on Earth mid flight test for the Vline Space Invader Institute, Zarp is immersed in an environment they never imagined being in. Zarp is forced to open a memory they put away a long time ago in hopes of getting home: the death of their parents.
Was Zarp's crash to this planet a fluke? Or was it some outside force trying to revisit the past?

UPCOMING DEVELOPMENT:
From March 30th to April 5th of 2025, Earth, I Want to Stay will be undergoing a New Play Development Workshop as a Student Driven Project, part of the Bloomsburg University Players' Mainstage Season. There will be student actors, designers, a dramaturg, and stage management in collaboration.
Colin Search will be the Director.
There will be a sharing of the play on April 5th in the Theatre Lab of the Arts and Administration building on CU-Bloomsburg's campus.
Riverstage Community Theatre’s 2024-2025 season features Into the Woods, which is the final show of the season performing from June 6th 2025 to June 15th 2025.

About the Musical: The Brothers Grimm storybook characters come together in the epic fairy tale musical about wishes, family, and the choices we make.
About the Play: In a near future, an illness plagues the planet, infecting the world population and polluting the air. Ellis and Finley are the last two people on Earth quarantined in their apartment in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. Unfortunately resources have drastically gone low, and A Voice lets Ellis know the two of them don't have much time left until an aggressive storm comes to wipe them out.
